Inflammatory conditions occur in several common disorders including
rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lumbago, etc
Selective
COX2 inhibitory activity has come under a cloud due the recent controversy
regarding Bextra, Celebrex and Vioxx. Natural agents containing
more than one anti-inflammatory compounds are expected to act by
multiple mechanisms. The commonest adverse effects of COX inhibitors
(particularly COX1 inhibitors like Aspirin) are gastric irritation
effects and if overused, gastric ulcerations. Due to multiple mechanisms
of the multiple phyto-compounds, lower doses may be acting synergistically
in herbs. Hence the value of newer anti-inflammatory herbs that
have been proven safe and active.
Lanconone is balanced combination of extracts which has scientifically
demonstrated significant Antiinflammatory activity.
Dosage / Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement take 1 capsules
3 times a day.
